It's not the same amount of frenzy of the F800GS, but it's certainly an improvement. If you get bored and want to test ride mine, let me know =) I'm installing a new chain on her today.

As you suggest, the seat was not as comfortable, the distance between the brake/gear shift and foot pegs is too short, and the traditional BMW-style turn signals are terrible. But the power is so nice and smooth! My Dak felt wimpy after riding the 800.
