There are lots of batteries out there. You just have to find the best type that suits your needs. There are so many new design concept right now that you could use a battery that runs with the help of air flow... That could work very nice with a bike.

Thanks for the tip. Battery just died on my 2000 F650GS and I was looking for an AGM replacement. The good news is that I also couldn't get the BikesBatt YB12AL2 and had to settle on the XtremeVolts replacement. This turns out well since I noticed that the BikesBatt version has the polarity reversed.

Thomas I have been reading your blog for a long long time now but, I must tell you this is extreme for you; shutting off the net ooh.

BTW while you are it you could even have a 'shut off the phone' day. I did it for 2 days at stretch but gave into the habit again.
